Calgary Trip - June 7, 2006

We left for Calgary on Sunday June 4th (after we made sure the roofers would be ok while we were gone - as we were in the process of having our roof redone). We came back on Tuesday June 6th after Scott wrote his Brewing tests, it was a fast trip.

Scott had to write 2 of the test for his diploma of Brewing on Tuesday, and since he was going to be busy writing his tests for six hours I had to find something to do and because I have never been to the Calgary Zoo before, I went by myself.

I had a total blast, I got to take my time and look at everything. The guy with the Skunk was very cool, good thing this Skunk was descented because I got to touch her.

During our trip we also got to visit a few friends that are now in Calgary, including meeting up with both of them at a bar down town on the "Red Mile" to watch a Stanley Cup Playoff Hockey Game... too bad Calgary was already eliminated. But Calgarians are not to picky about what team they cheer for, Go Edmonton Go!! ( I really could care less, as long as it is a Canadian team).
