A Walk at Terwilliger Park

We thought we better check out some of the parks here in Edmonton. Terwilliger is about a 10 minute drive from our place. Most of the park is off leash areas for dogs, we will have to take Bailey here when he comes to visit.

This spring during the thaw, the ice must have jammed up on the N. Saskatchewan River, leaving all these ice blocks on the shore

It was amazing how thick the ice was... also amazing to see "Parent of the year award recipient", they let their kids climb all over the ice. We could see and hear parts of the ice breaking off and falling into the water!

Meeting Grandpa Eisma

My dad arrived to meet Brynn and then my mom's "Baby Welcoming Tour of 2013" will come to an end and she will drive home with Dad. Mom has been away from home for 2 1/2 months, she first went to see my sister Carrie and help her and Ken welcome their new baby girl.

Brynn is about to start crying... the hand off is imminent (Grandpa doesn't do crying babies)

1 Month Update

Brynn is 1 month old!

She now weighs 9 lbs 9 oz and 22" long

We are getting some smiles from her now (I'll just have to try and catch one with the camera)

She is now cooing and loves to watch Elyse!

3 Weeks Old

We got Brynn weighed again at the Public Health weigh and see drop in and she is 9 lbs!
