Buster Bear Comes for a Visit

Elyse's class has a pet again this year, his name is Buster Bear. 

Last year Jessica the Red Panda, came to visit (links to her 2 visits: Dec 9, 2014 and Feb 18, 2015) and the year before for Playschool it was Brown Bear who visited March 26, 2014. 

Buster had a lot of fun with us. He got to watch a movie and eat popcorn, go to the library and then go shopping at both Costco and Save On.

Elyse got to take a few photos (and print them) of her and Buster on their adventures and write a letter to her classes telling them all about their adventures.

Brynn was just as excited as Elyse to have Buster Bear visit with us for the weekend.

Polly hasn't been doing that well lately, and I took her into the vet. After 3 different rounds of antibiotics, it was determined that there was probably more going on than just a urinary tract infection. We had to put her down today, I think a bit more difficult for me than the girls; I am not really sure how much they understand. I took a few photos this morning before I took Polly to the vet.

A Visit from Grandma & Grandpa and Elyse's Birthday Party

Scott's mom and dad came to stay and help us celebrate Elyse's Birthday.

It is always a treat when they come to visit.

We held Elyse's party this year at an indoor playground. The kids had so much fun!

These are the favors we sent home with the kids. Marshmallows dipped in chocolate, covered in sprinkles!

Magic Space was so much fun. We got a private room for an hour to have lunch and eat cupcakes.

We opened her gifts later on when the kids were having a break from playing.

Happy 6th Birthday Elyse!

This summer we started watching CBC Kids in the mornings and Elyse loves to see the Birthday wishes. We surprised her by submitting her photo to be televised the morning of her birthday. 

She loved it!
