New Appliances...

When we bought the house, we knew we wanted to buy new appliances. The fridge is so tiny and the stove top is bent, and all the food you cook flows to one side of the pan.

When we moved in the old owners told our real estate agent that the dishwasher was broken. Scott took the old one apart and nothing was wrong with it. We figure the old lady didn't know how to work it; it was an older model that the door had to be manually locked before the dishwasher would start running. We still got a new one to match all the other stainless steel appliances.

Camping at BP Sept 23-25, 2016

We did not come to Creston early enough this summer to book a week out at BP Guide Camp, so we picked a weekend in September.

It wasn't that warm, so we set the tent up in the cabin and had a great weekend at the lake.

Our tradition is to get a photo on the rocks jutting out into the lake. This year we used the remote shutter and tripod.

Grape Jelly!

Our grape vines have been producing like crazy this summer; and this is even with getting rid of all of the vines across the back of the yard/garden.

I've picked what I've wanted and called a friend to come and pick the rest. She was so excited to have all the rest of our grapes.

The final product! Not just one jar but at least 15 jars...

Now that the grapes are picked, time to remove the vines that go from the back patio out and across the back yard.

Last Morning on the Boat: September 5, 2016

(No photos as there was so much to do)

We woke up and radioed in for our docking time. 

Cleaned and packed everything up and once on the dock unloaded the boat.

We were home by supper time...

Today was another overcast and rainy day.
The crew headed over in the small ski boat to do a quick hike (multiple trips required to get all of the crew over to hike)
