New Stroller for Elyse

We finally got a stroller for Elyse. As much as Elyse enjoyed being packed around in the Baby Bjorn, our backs were not liking how much weight she has gained.

We knew we wanted a bike trailer for when Elyse is a bit older, so we looked at all the different options out there, and there are a lot of options. We finally decided on a bike trailer from Mountain Equipment Co-op and then we bought the jogger stroller attachment for it.

Elyse Found her Voice

Here is a quick video of Elyse chatting away, telling us a long story. She sure has a lot to say for only being a few months old.

4 Month Up Date

Elyse is now 4 months old!!

She weighs 12 lbs 13 oz and is 25 " long

- She has found her voice with lots of squeals, goos and coos. She loves to "talk" to you
- She does mini crunches and really likes it when you help her sit up. She even pushes down/off with her feet when sitting and with a little help gets her self in a standing postion. The Jolly Jumper has been a ton of fun.
- She seems to have "forgotten" how to roll over now, or she just loves to sit/stand now and rolling is old business and doesn't want to do it
- Every thing she grasps on to go directly into her mouth.

- She now sleeps the whole night in her basinet, not on my chest. And by the whole night I mean she slept for 5 1/2 hours, then up for a feed then back to sleep for 3 hours and then more food and another 2 hours of sleep.

Bath Time Fun

Elyse still loves her bath and we have made sure that a bath is part of our night time routine. What little routine we have so far.

Jolly Good Times

Ever since we have been home from our travels Elyse has loved to be in the Jolly Jumper.

It is really funny to see Polly interact with Elyse, she loves to rub up against Elyse when she is in the Jolly Jumper. Other wise the cat normally just ignors Elyse.
