Cherries!!

We bought the rights to a cherry tree this year, through Cherrybrook Farms (http://www.cherrybrookfarms.ca/42.html and http://cherrybrookfarms.blogspot.com/)

We just had to book a time to come pick our tree, when the cherries were ripe, and this year they were about 2 weeks late in ripening. We weren't sure if we would be able to pick and deal with the cherries before we leave for Ontario.

The Flowers are Phlox that I got from my Grandma's Garden, and she got them from Great Auntie Marg's Garden. The flowers seem to like all the nice Creston weather, as they are doing great!

A Visit with Scott's Cousin and Her Family

Scott's cousin Jen and her family stopped by for dinner. They were on their way through town, on their way to Yellowstone. Aidan and Elyse loved playing together, they got along very well. It was great to visit with Jen and Rob.

Elyse Loves Raspberries

Elyse gets to spend a couple days a month with Laurie, Robert and their dog Bandit while Scott and I are at work. She always has so much fun at their house. They have a fantastic yard for Elyse to play in and a great garden to dig in too!

Summer Time Fun

Sleeping Babies at Honeymoon Beach

We met up with our friends Brad and Carolyn at honeymoon beach today.  We swapped kids during wakeboarding and tubing outings.  While Leanne was looking after Alina, Elyse got really jealous and they both snuggled in.  Before you know it they were both asleep!

Helping Do Dishes

Elyse's latest thing that she has to do is help with the dishes.  There is lots of splashing but not much cleaning going on.....

A Day on the Beach

The water level on the lake is starting to drop, and there is actually some beach available to park the boat.  We spent the day at Twin Bays.  Elyse loved to play in the sand, and we had a nice visit with Patty and Tom.

Lunch on the Boat

We went out on the boat today, just for a cruise because there is still too much wood around for Scott to wakeboard.  Here is a shot of Elyse enjoying her lunch.
