Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow !!

We have had a ton of snow while everyone else in the country has had freezing cold temperatures. We have so much snow now I can just barely toss it with a shovel over the snow banks on the side of the driveway.

This picture doesn't really give quite the idea of how much snow there really is (well there is a lot of snow for Creston)

The back deck that I shovelled off, it is hard to give a perpective on the depth but it is about 25 cm deep

This is the stop sign at the bottom corner of our yard (I guess everyone still stops because they know it is there)
We have also found out since moving in that our gutters don't work. The water runs off the roof and between the edge of the roof and gutter. This is a great peice of art work done by our house I can touch the bottom of this icicle from our front steps, and from the top picture you can see the valley of the roof where this icicle starts from. IT IS HUGE ! (hope it doesn't fall on anyone's head - that is if they can make it up the front steps - they are covered in ice from the water dripping off the roof)

A Few Memories from the Holiday Season

Now that Scott are back home and settled somewhat back into our regular routine, I thought I'd post a few photos of our Christmas Vacation.
We started out by spending a few days and Christmas at Scott's Parents Resort.

GT'ing on the back hill. Of course the hill got the best of both Scott and the GT as the last crash of the day left Scott bruised and the GT broken!
