Sold

The house was on the market for 2 weeks before we accepted an offer, conditions were cleared this week and now it is officially sold! 

The closing date is June 22, which means we have a week of school to get through before the girls and I will leave Edmonton. 

House Hunting Trip to Creston May 19-23, 2016

The girls and I headed down to Creston to visit with Scott and do some house hunting. Elyse didn't have school on Thursday and Friday and of course Monday was no school as it was the May long weekend; 5 whole days of house hunting and fun! 

We didn't find a house that we wanted to buy but since Scott is staying down in Creston and working he can go view other options as they come up. 

As long as we have an address for the beginning of September when Elyse needs to be in school, we have some time to find a place to live...

Spark Camp May 6-8, 2016

Elyse's Spark group this year headed out to "camp" at YoWoChAs a YWCA run facility on lake Wabamun. The cost was a bit more per girl than if we had taken them to one of the facilities belonging to Girl Guides here in Edmonton but all we had to do was show up with our girls and our gear (sleeping bags and back packs). They have fantastic facilities and great programming.
