NEW HOUSE !!

We got our house inspection done on a new house that we hope to buy. The only condition that we have left on our offer is financing but we know this won't be a problem.
There is only 2 and 1/2 weeks left before we have to be out our of current home, and we don't have an exact date for possession of the new house yet, hopefully we will know more Friday after the appointment with the Notary Public.
The house is on the corner of 16th Ave N and Scott St. (too bad the address isn't Scott St. because it would be great to have Scott and I live on Scott St.), but anyways here are some of the photos I took of the new place:

SOAR July 20 - 28

Here are a few photos of a Girl Guide Camp I went to in July. My co-leader and I drove the truck and trailer with all of the gear for 4 patrols. The girls and other leaders got to go by charter bus.
Our Patrol was 8 girls between the ages of 15 and 17. We had 2 girls from Creston, 3 girls from other towns in the Kootenays, 1 girl from the Island, 1 girls from Kamloops and 1 girl from Halifax NS. We were a very diverse group but everyone meshed well together for our week of camping.
We left Creston very early in the morning of Friday July 20th and camped on Vancouver Island near Parksville until we came home Saturday July 28. We were very lucky to make it home that day, as there was a bomb threat on the that particular ferry route later that day.

Ummm... So we're not going to Halifax !

July 12 - 7:15 am (36 hours before we get on the plane to Halifax)

Scott calls me at home after just arriving at work. He was offered a better job here at the Brewery in Creston. He is going to be the Brewmaster ! This position is 2 steps up from his current job as a FLM (Front Line Manager) of the brewing department and 1 step up from his job in Halifax as Brewing Specialist. Each step up means a 15 % raise and an increase in his bonus potential - so it is not like he could have turned the job down.

Only problem(s):

I quit my job ! I have not chance of getting my very hard earned Permanent job back - but luckily I planned on working casually until we left for Halifax I just gave up my line and went to Casual status so I didn't lose any of my seniority hours.

The house is sold ! We looked into every way to get out of the house deal, but unfortunately the conditions on the offer we agreed to were: house inspection and financing. The financing wasn't an issue (damn) and we left every fault of the house very visible during the house inspection (it's not like a good inspector wouldn't find them anyways). In the end the buyer wanted a new hot water tank and we refused hoping that they would walk away from the deal. But it was a no go, they still wanted our house even with the dented up hot water tank.
