Hawaiian Beach Party!

Elyse got a new cowboy hat from Scott, he picked it up from the Western Canada Labatt Sales people at the conference in Toronto earlier this week. She has been wearing it ever since she got it. 

Today the hat is a sun hat at their Hawaiian Beach Party! 

They are both wearing shell necklaces from our last trip to Hawaii and they are pretending that they are wearing grass skirts. 

We had Hawaiian music playing and the beach towels were laid out on the "sand" aka the carpet.

I love the imagination that Elyse has, it has lead to alot of laughs!

Stain-glass Cookies

Elyse loves to help me bake, today we made stain-glass cookies. They were super easy to make, just use any sugar cookie recipe that you have, cut any shape hole in the middle and put in 1 or 2 Jolly Rancher Candies. Bake as normal on parchment paper.

I am sure I am missing a whole bunch of new foods, but Brynn is eating what we are eating now (it just gets chopped up a bunch)

Girls in a Box
