What a difference 24 Hours Makes...

That storm that was predicted to hit BC Friday afternoon, hit us!

It was so windy, and all day Saturday the temperature kept dropping, I know that my parents from the north along with a few friends will laugh at this but, we woke up to - 5 and by the time we went to bed it was -12 and this morning it was - 16 (this is cold for us!).

And here is a nice pic of Scott shovelling snow

The Christmas Tree is Up!

Scott and I decorated our tree, the first one we have had in the new house. It only required a little bit of re-arrangement of furniture, definitely not too bad.
Scott trimming the top of the tree so the Angel can fit with out bumping her head

The tree basically done - see not too much furniture moved

This is a tree skirt one of my Girl Guide friends gave me, I love the snowmen

Of course Polly can't leave the tree alone, silly kitty - here she is, looking all cute and innocent.

On the Snow front, still non to report, we will see what we get with the cold front that is heading across BC. Maybe snow instead of rain...

The last remaining planters from the Wedding - see still no snow!

Red Sky at Night, Sailors Delight....

I wonder if we will get good weather today... I took these photos last night.

I have to head out of town today to finish our Christmas shopping and of course the Guiding Area Christmas party and sleepover. Followed by the all day Area meeting on Saturday....

Why, oh, why did I say yes to District Commissioner?

OK, Where's the Snow?

So, it is December 1st, almost all the Christmas shopping is finished, Christmas parties are starting, and we wanna ski!!

Where's the snow??

What a gross and yucky day out there, it is drizzling rain, it's like we live in Vancouver.
