The bunny hid plastic eggs all over the house, and Elyse loved finding them this morning.

A Beautiful Day to be Outside

The weather is nice, so we decided to head outside to enjoy the sunshine!

Colouring Easter Eggs

I picked up an egg dye kit from Walmart this year for a buck and we all had fun colouring eggs!

2 Weeks Old!

Brynn is 2 weeks old now... where is the time going?

At her check up today she weighed 8 lbs 5 ozs

She has gained an entire pound since she was born!

1 Week Old!

Hard to believe that Brynn is a week old already!

We stopped by Public Health this afternoon, they have a drop in program Tuesday afternoons called "Weigh and See" You can have your baby weighed and talk with a Nurse in case you have any questions. We are still struggling with breastfeeding so I hoped they could give me some help with getting a better latch. All they could do is get me to call our Dr to get a phone/fax referral for a breastfeed consultation at the Misencordia Hospital; which I did and won't get to see the Dr there until April 4th!

What ever we are doing with the breastfeeding is working though, Brynn is now 7 lbs 11 ozs.

Which means that she has re-gained all the way to her birth weight and surpassed it!

 

She is visibly getting bigger, her thighs are starting to get rolls!

My mom is here helping us out with Elyse. She watched Elyse while Scott, Brynn and I spent our first night together in the hospital. She brought Elyse to the hospital this morning to meet Brynn for the first time.

We got discharged home at noon today, and we were home by 1 pm, less than 24 hours in the hospital! So nice to be home and what a difference this time around. With Elyse we spent a total of 8 nights in hospital with her.
