Olaf Cookie Pops

Elyse got for Christmas, a kit to make Olaf Cookie Pops from Great Grandma and Papa. This was a huge hit! We can't wait to make the kit with the Anna & Elsa cupcakes.
While Brynn was having her nap, Elyse and I got out the mixer and set to work making Olaf cookies on a stick = Olaf Cookie Pops.
Elyse was very excited to start making cookies
On the tray ready to go into the oven... looking good so far
Adding the eyes
Very proud of our creations
They kinda look like Olaf. The girls loved them. The black icing was interesting to clean up off their faces

No Snow!

We have really lucked out this winter, we have hardly had snow or cold weather.
Here is our backyard.... almost no snow!

Scott has been working as an appliance repair man this weekend. Our dishwasher started leaking mid-cycle. The only reason we caught it was that Scott and the girls were down in the basement playing band (Brynn and Elyse on the drums and Scott on the guitar), and the water started dripping on Scott's head!
On the top/ceiling of the dishwasher is a spray head, this was what had come loose and finally the small leak had soaked the insulation layer enough it started dripping down to the basement (thank goodness we don't have a finished ceiling down there and the water freely dripped onto Scott's head). An easy fix for Scott! re-screw the sprayer head back in and a little silicon seal for good measure.

Jasper Trip Jan 16-18, 2015

We did a weekend trip to Jasper to ski Marmot Basin this weekend. We shared a hotel room with our friends Brad and Karen. And everyone had a really good time and the snow conditions were great! (and it wasn't too cold)
Karen and I enjoying the scenery!
Brynn was in the on hill daycare all day and Elyse did half a day in the daycare in the mornings including a ski lesson.
I skied with her in the afternoon. She was doing so well on the magic carpet. A short video of her, below.
