Back to BC...

Scott accepted a new position and we are headed back to Creston.
Scott is going to be the plant manager at the Columbia Brewery, and starts on May 2.
He will probably work from the plant here for a couple of weeks and then head down there.
I plan on staying here with the girls until Elyse is done school.
Now the craziness begins!

I bought a couple of hanging baskets to increase curb appeal and scratch
my gardening itch as I won't be planting anything this year

Hibiscus Flower

My grandma gave me a hibiscus plant a couple of years ago, and it has never done much. But some how this spring it has taken off. I keep pinching back the stems and then I noticed a bud. My hibiscus finally flowered, maybe it will flower more and I'll get more than one...

Come Play With Me

This spring, I was told that Brynn was too young to play soccer, the U4 team is kids that are turning 4 this year. She just turned 3 and was very disappointed when I told her she wouldn't get to play.
So I signed her up with a parent and child preschool program put on by the City of Edmonton called Come Play with Me. She loves it!! We go every Monday morning, they have it set up in the Terwilligar Community Recreation Center, where they run it almost like a preschool. The kids even have access to the indoor playground too!

100 Days of School! February 11, 2016

Before we left for Hawaii in February, we put together Elyse's 100 Days project for celebrating 100 days completed in school this school year. The project was to put together 100 items in a collection/presentation.
Elyse wanted to make a beaded necklace with 100 different beads. I never knew, but we have more than 100 different beads! Some of the beads she had picked out wouldn't fit onto the string, so she had to go back and pick out different ones.
I didn't get a chance to take a photo of Elyse and her 100 days necklace before she took it to school. It has been on display at school for a while and today she brought it home. I took the opportunity to take photos of her and the necklace.
