Ouch!

We were outside enjoying a bit of nice weather and Brynn was in her tricycle, Elyse was trying to push her with the parent handle and when that didn't work she just pushed the tricycle from the side... That really didn't work and the whole thing tipped over on the driveway. The first thing to hit the cement was Brynn's forehead! It is quite the red mark and poor Elyse felt so bad she was crying.

Still smiling, we will see how long it take for the mark to disapear

Brown Bear

Elyse's class have been taking turns with Brown Bear. He has been visiting us for the last few days. We took lots of photos and picked out a few to make a page to go into the Brown Bear Adventure Book. (I forgot to take a photo of the page we made) These are the adventures that Brown Bear got to do with us!

We were headed off to Costco, and Elyse thought it was too cold and snowy for Brown Bear to come unless he got something warm to wear. She found a sweater that fit him perfectly in her doll clothes bin

A Visit from Grandma & Grandpa March 5-13

"Kid Mountain" located in the middle of our cul d' sac, in the summer it is "Kid Island"
Right now everyone shovels their driveways to the middle and a neighbor snow-blows the snow into a huge pile

 Good thing we have the island in the middle of all the kids to play on.

 We took advantage of the nice weather and went for a walk to the park.

While Scott's mom and dad were here, I got to do 3 parent helper days at Elyse's playschool.
So nice to get a few of those days done, Brynn was very good for Grandma and Grandpa, here she is napping on Grandma

Brynn's 1st Birthday Party

We held a brunch Ladybug birthday party for Brynn's first birthday. We kept the invite list very small, we had Nora and Luke with their parents over to celebrate and of course Scott's Mom and Dad join us for the week.

A new bike helmet for Brynn. We hope to get lots of bike riding in this spring/summer

We got Brynn a multi-stage tricycle

This tricycle is good from 10 - 36 months. We probably won't use the sun canopy here in Edmonton as the wind will just rip it off. Eventually the parent handle and seat straps can be removed and it can be a free standing tricycle
