Sept 13 - 17, Visiting Leanne's Mom and Dad

We got to spend some time with my mom and dad. I even got to see Daniel, my younger brother, I hadn't seen him since our wedding last year, and we got to meet his girl friend Leah. Mom made a bunch of baby stuff for me, while dad was at work. Scott cut up a bunch of trees for fire wood to help keep the baby warm this winter when we go up to visit for Christmas.

Mom had to work one of the days we were visiting, so we went up to Barkerville to visit herMy little brother and I (well he isn't so little any more) Scott cutting up one of the approximately 10 trees he cut up, split and stacked while we were visitingDad and Scott finishing off the last couple of rounds - then it all had to go into the truck, to take to the houseThrowing the rounds off the truck to where he got to then split and stack the fire woodJust some of the fire wood Scott split and stacked

First Boat Trip

The lake was too rough to take the boat out, on Sunday. So we took the boat out on the river on Monday afternoon, before I had to work my night shift. It was a great afternoon/evening, the water was like glass!

We Bought a Boat!!

After looking and looking at boat since this past spring we finally bought a boat. Scott and our friend Blaine picked it up in Salmon Arm yesterday, with Blaine's truck. We weren't sure if the RAV would be able to pull it over all the mountain passes to get it home, and Blaine was a willing participant.

As you can tell our boat is white and red :) it is a 2005, 19 1/2' Monterey 194 FS with only 105 hours on it - so basically hardly used. We may only get 1 or 2 weekends to use the boat before winter/freezing comes, but next summer will be a lot of fun.

It looks huge in our side yard! Scott with his new toy!
I have many more posts to come, I have just been working so much this past week that I haven't had a chance to post. We have bought the baby's crib and set up the last part of the baby's room, we took a weeks worth of holidays and visited my parents and Scott's parent's, and of course more photos of the boat's interior when we initially looked at it week ago. Oh and I'll have to get Scott to take some more belly photos to show you the growth of BSTB (Baby Stokes To Be) aka Cletus the Fetus!!
