Sliding Fun

We take Elyse to a local school to play on their playground equipment. There is one slide that Elyse can climb up and slide down all by her self, she loves it!

Baby Balugas

Elyse's Infant Development Program put together 6 sessions at our local pool over the last 6 weeks. We had so much fun playing in the pool and meeting a few other kids and moms.

The sessions all consisted of sings and lots of different activities designed to stimulate different physical skills. This activity we were singing "Drop My Stick, Pick It Up" and different coloured sticks either floated or they sunk to the bottom.

Elyse loves to pick up things and put them away, these rounds of pool-noodles were great for her to pick up and put into the buckets.

We have been watching all the Canuck playoff games so far and of course Elyse has been cheering the Canucks on by wearing her jersey.

Elyse's Scraped Nose

Elyse got a bit of scraped nose last weekend and when Scott's Mom & Dad got home, Margaret sent me a photo of Scott with a scraped nose. The apple really didn't fall that far from the tree!!

A Visit from Scott's Mom and Dad

Scott's Mom & Dad came down to visit us and help us out this past weekend. They arrived on Thursday and since our regular babysitter (Bandit's mom), was away on vacation they got to take care of Elyse while both Scott and I were at work on Friday.

Saturday was also a busy day for Scott and I, so they got to spend even more time with Elyse. Scott gave a tour of the Brewery to the ladies that came to Creston for the Area Annual General Meeting for Girl Guides. I organize the day's worth of event for after the meeting, and was busy with that all day.
Saturday night we got to go out to our friend's wedding reception, Terry & Heather had gotten married in Ontario a couple of weeks ago and held a reception here in town so we all could celebrate.

Scott left on Sunday morning for Orlando Florida to attend a brewing confrence and I had to work a night shift that night. Again Grandma and Grandpa got to spend time with Elyse. I even got to sleep once I got home on Monday morning. It was fantastic!! Scott's Mom and Dad had to head back home on Tuesday, leaveing Elyse and I home alone until Scott gets back on Saturday morning.

A huge thanks to Barry and Margaret for coming all the way down to help us out this past weekend, we couldn't have done it with out you.

Elyse fell asleep yesterday on the couch. It has been so long since she fell asleep like this, so I just let her sleep next to me while I watched TV and played around on the computer.
