Skating on Duck Lake

We met Blaine and Eastin out at Duck Lake for some skating this afternoon.

The girls did very well on their skates.

Brewery Kids Christmas Party

The Brewery held it's kids Christmas Party at the Bowling Alley this year. So much fun!

It was a pot luck event and we brought "Grinch Kabobs"

Skiing at Red

There is so much snow already, we headed off to Red Mountain in Rossland today to enjoy a day on the hill. It was so nice to be back and Brynn did so well!

Sledding

We have quite a bit of snow already this year.

The girls, Scott and I went out to enjoy it!

Making Tea Cup Cupcakes

Elyse got these fantastic tea cup baking dishes for her birthday this year. 

She loved making teacup cupcakes!

ARES Winter Carnival

One of the older grades at Elyse's school are fundraising for a class trip this spring and they put on a winter carnival. The girls had a lot of fun participating in all the games, activities and treats.

Walking to School

We walk to school here in Creston, a bit more hills involved than our walk in Edmonton.

Since Grandma and Grandpa are visiting they come with us on our walk to school and Elyse loves to walk Bailey on our way.

Dance

Brynn is in a combo class, she is taught Ballet and Tap and Elyse is in a Ballet Level 1 & 2 class.

The tapping is so loud in the classroom, Brynn wears ear muffs...

Art Work Project

This project has been on my to do list for a while, I found the idea on Pinterest while we were still in Edmonton. I found the scrapbook paper I liked this summer and bought the canvases this summer too. I really like how it turned out.

Since Elyse was off on her Birthday Adventure with Grandma and Grandpa; Brynn, Scott and I took Bailey out for a walk.

Elyse's Birthday Adventure

Scott's mom and dad take the girls on a "Birthday Adventure" for their birthday.
Elyse chose to go to Ainsworth Hot Springs this year.
