A Weekend of Fun

On Saturday we took advantage of the amazing weather and took a walk along the river. 

We are amazed that the weather has been so good this September.

We also took the girls to play mini golf. We looked and couldn't find an outdoor course, so we tried out Dragon's Tale Mini Golf at West Edmonton Mall. 

It was very busy, and not as enjoyable as the time we played mini golf at Professor WEM mini golf at West Edmonton Mall. If we go again we would play at the Professor WEM course.

On Sunday we took advantage of the City of Edmonton's Free Day. We have done this every fall, and this is the second time we have attended the zoo for Free Day.

There is lots of activities for the kids to do on Free Day. The girls made Red Panda puppets

AC DC in the Rain

Brad and Karen originally bought tickets to see AC DC, but Karen ended up having to go out of town for work and Brad asked Scott if he would like to go.

The weather forecast wasn't promising, 8 C with rain, not ideal conditions for an outdoor concert.

But Brad and Scott had fun!

First Day of Grade 1

Elyse was very excited to start Grade One!

Pre-Season Oil Kings

We took the girls to a pre-season Oil Kings game.

We had great seats and the girls got a game puck during the warm up.

They were so proud, to get a puck.
