The garden has been doing great for our first year, everything is growing well.
This is the first year that I have tried growing green bell peppers, and I am very impressed at how they turned out. We have already eaten one that was the same size as ones in the store and these 2 are going to be just the same. Yummy!!
I pulled 4 of the leeks that I grew, to make dinner tonight.
They look just like the ones you get at the store, but tastier

Biscuits to go with soup
Scott's mom and dad's boat - it was great that they brought it down for the week. The lake was flat clam for almost all of the time we were out there until a huge storm blew up on Thursday night and we were very grateful that Scott and his friend Blaine took the time to create a mooring buoy for the boat
We were sitting one morning on the beach and noticed something small swimming in the lake, once it got closer we got to see that it was a big frog. It hung out in the shallow water for quite a while before swimming away.
Thursday we took a day trip up to Ainsworth to visit Cody Caves Provincial Park. Scott and I had never gotten up there to check it out yet. We all (Scott & I and his Mom & Dad) took a tour a 1 hour spelunking tour of the cave. It was very cool, both neat and temperature wise (only 6 degrees C). I did not to bad scrambling up and over water falls and through tight spots, I am just not as agile and flexible as I once was a few months ago. The tour took us about 130 meters into the cave, and I would recommend the tour to anyone who is physically able.

Friday morning - the view from our tent, the bay was quite protected from the waves and the boat you can't quite see, but it is behind the tree branches on the lower right. The wind lasted all day Friday but calmed down later that night and wasn't too bad for the rest of the time we were at the lake

Scott out wake boarding
Scott trying out the Skurf board (like a surf board that is used on the wake of the boat)
Bailey waiting on the dock for the boat to come back - very neat how he knew where the boat would dock, next to every ones sandals
Baby Zoe and I in the hammock - not that she is a baby now that she just turned 1!!
"Look Grandma" (only 1 and already walking)
"OK Grandma, lets go!!"
Everyone sitting down for dinner - we were there for 3 nights and there was 3 couples, so each couple was responsible for dinner for 1 night - it worked out great and the food was delicious
Scott's dad having breakfast on Monday morning
Jim's friends Nathan and Shalon camped out with us too, good times were had by all
