Tomatoes, Peaches, Playing in the Backyard with Grandma, Grandpa and Tina

When we came home from Sorrento we brought back 2 cases of tomatoes and 2 cases of peaches.
We arrived home on Sunday evening and my mom and dad with a good family friend Tina arrived on Monday evening.
Tina was a huge help getting the tomatoes and peaches dealt with. We froze some tomatoes, ate some fresh and all the rest got canned as crushed tomatoes. The peaches most were made into peach jam, some into canned quarters. some we froze and some we ate fresh. It feels like we are ready for winter, squirreling away produce to enjoy when the snow flies.

Crushed tomatoes ready to go into the pantry
We left the cases of peaches stacked in the corner of the kitchen ready to be used. Brynn was under the supervision of my dad.... Grandpa wasn't watching too closely and she stuck one finger into every peach she could reach! She would poke her finger in and then pull it out, lick it off and then on to the next peach. Most of the holes went all the way to the pit in the middle; I am sure she would have pushed all the way through but was only stopped my the pit.
A perfect Brynn sized finger hole
Look at all those holes, this is why we made so much jam!
We had beautiful weather when we got back home. The girls love to play in the back yard.
We were planning on having people over for a BBQ so we were cleaning up the patio table with the hose. Brynn loves water! and she got soaked while we were cleaning the table.

Here she comes to play in the water...

She is so excited for the wave of water coming off the patio table
