Calgary Zoo

We met friends from Calgary (Shaun and Marissa) at the zoo this morning. After the zoo we headed to Shaun and Marissa's to visit and spend the night. It was great to catch up with them and share stories of their wedding in Maui this past May (Scott was a groomsman in their wedding). On Monday we met up with friends (Blaine and Pam from Creston) in Sylvan Lake. Blaine and Pam were on their way home after a long weekend in Camrose at the Big Valley Jamboree, they were visiting with Blaine's sister in Sylvan Lake. It was great to catch up with them for the afternoon and then head home.

We didn't realize it but we ended up saving the best thing for last. The penguin exhibit was Brynn's absolute favourite! She would laugh, giggle and squeal when the penguins swam by. They were right at her eye level and there was swim through, right below where we were standing. The penguins would come shooting out from under our feet and then back again.
