Elyse is now 10 months old!!
She weighs 17 lbs 12 1/2 oz and is 27 1/2 " long
- Elyse put some weight on this past month compared to last month, but again she didn't lengthen out much
- Elyse got her first tooth on September 1st, it was the bottom left one
- She learned to crawl up stairs this month while at Grandma and Grandpa's on August 26th
- She has learned how to do a high pitched squeal
- She also learned that she has pointer fingers and she loves to point at everything and everyone, and she has discovered that they fit perfectly up her nose!
- She is still crawling every where and pulls up on everything, and can cruise the whole length of the couch
- She can still only stand while holding on with one hand, she hasn't gotten up the nerve to let go yet
- She loves clapping her hands together
- She waves both hands in the air - we call it "Jazz Hands"
- She wiggles her whole body when you ask her to "dance" or "shake it"
- She is also loves waving hi and bye to everyone
- We took her camping in for a week of camping at the Guide Camp, spending the whole week in a tent
- The sleep training is going well, she actually fell asleep for the first time on August 13th with no crying
- Elyse and I went up to my parents place for 2 weeks, where she got to meet both sets of Grandparents, her Auntie Carrie, Uncle Ken, Uncle Dan and Leah, and Great Aunties Hilda and Sylvia
- While up in Quesnel, Elyse got to visit Barkerville for the first time
The new foods that she has tried this month are:
Hashbrowns
Parsnips
Chicken
Cooked Tomatoes
Zucchini
Lentils
and She loved chewing on a rib bone
