Hope that our baby can use this for a few years to come. It also has a drawer attached under neath it, very handy so far for lot of different things, blankets, towels, sheets etc.
*thanks mom & dad*
Scott attaching the drawer, with Polly supervising!

We got the crib mattress from my Auntie Nur and Uncle John, it is in great shape, and fits perfectly into the new Crib *Thanks*
We also got the dresser/change table from them too, it was used by my cousin Andrea since she was a baby and before by her older brother Jason. It is in fantastic shape, I just got a few removable wall decals to place over a couple of holes where there once was a mirror attached. And of course I added a few of these decals to above/around the window and above the closet and door.
My mom made a few covers for the changing pad on the dresser/change table, she also made me some wash cloths, a hooded towel, some receiving blankets and a fitted sheet for the co-sleeper.

A couple of other things I may want to get to finish off the room, is this Ikea shelf (I have a friend headed to Calgary Ikea today, and if it fits in the van she'll pick it up for us). Once the shelf arrives I may place it in the corner next to the dresser and take my cedar chest out of the room - I'm not sure where to put it but it will fit some where - maybe the guest bed room... we will see.
I was also thinking of getting a dust ruffle for below the mattress on the crib, it will hide the wooden mattress support, maybe I'll pick one one once we know if BSTB is a boy or girl. But for the most part we are finished the baby's room.

A while ago we bought a co-sleeper for the baby to sleep in for the first few months. This is again a multi-use item. It can be a normal bassinet or play yard/pen, but the neat thing about it is that you can drop the 4th rail down and push it up against your own bed (of course it is attached to the big bed) and the baby can sleep right next to you with out being in the same bed as you.
It packs up to a portable package, so it can be a portable crib for a while, both in the bassinet form which I think is good for 30 lbs or until the baby can sit/crawl, then you can use it until the baby/toddler is 50lbs in the play yard form.
