The job was put up and I applied on it and of course I didn't get it another casual LPN with more senority got the job. So I'm only working when the phone rings, which so far hasn't been too bad, and this way when Scott and I head to Mexico for a couple of weeks this December I don't have to worry about getting time off.
The fun part that I've done in the last couple of weeks has been that my mom came down to visit me. She stayed for almost 2 weeks it was great hanging out with her. We had a great time getting ready for Halloween. Mom hadn't carved a pumkin for ever, so she got the honor this year!
She is also one of the most "crafty" peaple I know, she made me some pillow covers with the colours I have choosen for our living room. Red, Yellow and Orange - since we have such dark brown sofas and wood floors.
