Happy Halloween

We got a couple of pumpkins for the girls to help us make Jack-o-Lanterns.

Elyse really didn't like reaching into the pumpkin this year, but she loved drawing the face for me to cut out. Brynn had no problem reaching in and picking out all the seeds.

Our neighbors held a Halloween Party for the kids in the afternoon. The girls had so much fun.

Originally Brynn was going to be a Monkey, but 10 minutes before the party she refused to wear the Monkey suit, she agreed to be the Mouse that she was last year. But, as soon as she got the Mouse costume on, she took it off and refused to wear it. We then took a trip upstairs to the dress up box and came up with a purple sparkly top and skirt, with some pretty pink fairy wings and a silver star wand. Finally, a costume she would wear!

Elyse loved wearing her Panda Bear costume. She got to wear it to Sparks earlier this week and then out to the party and she really was excited to wear it out trick or treating, but the photo doesn't really show this

We had my brother and his wife over for appetizers and to help us hand out candy.
