Maui - Fun at the Beach and the Park

We picked Hale Kai as it was right next door to Honokowai Beach Park. This beach park had a great tide pool protected from the surf during low tide that the girls could play in and a playground.
Honokowai Beach Park - playing in the protected tide pool at low tide. We were out and about at 7 am, the 4 hour time change had us up and moving before the sun rose.
Sand castle building
Playing when there was no waves was the only time we could get Elyse into the ocean, the surf scared her
Brynn playing in the sand with the sun rising behind her
Miss E and the swings
The playground was a huge hit with both the girls
Brynn hanging out at the bottom of the slide
On the beach at Honokowai Beach Park looking north to Hale Kai complex
Elyse playing on the beach below the BBQ area at Hale Kai
A good example of how wet she would get in the ocean - ankle deep
Lots of sand castle building
At low tide there is  little bit of sand below the rock wall by the pool in front of our complex. This is looking south towards Honokowai Beach Park
Enjoying the beach and shade. This is right below the BBQ area next to the pool
Brynn loved to swing!
Blowing bubbles at Honokowai Beach Park. These little brothers loved the bubbles!
