Elyse and I made the long drive up to visit my Mom and Dad in Quesnel. We broke the drive up by stopping and spending the night with Scott's Mom and Dad in Sorrento, both on the way north and then back south again. The weather wasn't too bad for our trip north, the second day of driving from Sorrento to Quesnel, it rained so much that I never turned the wipers off for 6.5 hours.
Elyse was a super traveller, we only stopped once during the day for lunch and a long run around (about an hour worth of time). She only napped for about half an hour each day we were driving, the rest of the time she was just sitting in her car seat watching the world go by, reading her books and playing with her toys.
