We had a suprise birthday party to go to this weekend in Chase on Saturday evening, so we chose to make it a long weekend. We headed up to Kelowna on Thursday after work and spent the night with Scott's sister Sarah and her husband and daughter. We didn't get in until late as Elyse was a difficult traveller, she wanted to stop and feed/get out of her car seat every hour or two.
On Friday morning we got to see Sarah graduate (again) from UBCO with her Masters (in Math... what a smart cookie). We met up with Scott's Mom and Dad there as well and went out for a celebratory lunch. We also got to do a bunch of shopping in Kelowna before heading to Sorrento to spend a couple of nights with Scott's Mom and Dad. Sarah, Jim and Zoe joined us as well, it was a lot of fun having Elyse playing with her Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, Grandpa and Grandma.
Our neice Zoe is quite shy so we don't have any photos of her, Elyse, and I but quite a few with Sarah, Jim, and Grandma with Elyse. Scott's mom got Elyse and Zoe matching out fits, they were so cute together.
