Red Mountain held a year end Slush Cup at the end of March. Basically the object is to ski down the mountain, across the pool of cold slushy water and not get wet. Kokanee was a huge sponsor of the event, it is nice to see advertising done locally.
The photos I took with my new camera turned out awesome. These are a sequence of a guy who didn't make it across the water. He lost a ski part way and crashed/splashed! His ski ended up at the bottom and middle of the pool. Of course he was already wet and choose to go for another dip to rescue is own ski. I love the photo of him in mid belly-flop.
