Christmas was here in the Kootenays, with Scott's mom and dad joining us. Brian (Scott's younger brother) was suppose to fly in on Christmas Eve, but since Air Canada basically gave up and stopped all flights in and out of Vancouver, Brian could make it. Sarah, Jim and baby Zoe (Scott's younger sister and family) arrived on boxing day. It was so much fun see them, and of course playing with our niece Zoe.
Scott got me for Christmas a new camera. A digital SLR - a Nikon D60, so here are a few snap shots that I have taken since Christmas.

Scott playing hockey during the Christmas Break (I took this picture from way up in the stands with my zoom lens - I am impressed that I caught him in action, I can only imagine what kind of photos I'll be able to take once I know how to use the camera)
This the snow that was on the roof in early January - it has all melted now, but I had to shovel a bit off the edge because it was starting to melt and push out our new gutters

Actually, the budgie that came with us is Scooter. Piper is no longer with us :(
I totally was thinking Scooter but wrote down Piper. I missed "Pudge" this Christmas. (I fixed the post) L
